This beautiful Emperor has been crafted from the finest materials available.

The body back is made from a one-piece Swamp Ash piece of timber and the drop top is a tight grained, ferociously flamed piece of Maple.

The neck is 1/4 sawn, roasted Maple with a delicious flame pattern too, the fingerboard is Grade AAAA Ebony, tight grained and true black (no dyes used here!).

The hardware is also top notch - all modern classic Dimarzio pickups and a modern take on the classic bridge by Wilkinson - smooth, and amazing return to pitch.

The Dimarzio single coils are modern hum-cancelling units, beautiful vintage tone with no noise!

The guitar has the three familiar knobs, master volume and tone and then the magic one….

The third knob does two wonderful things -- it’s push-push function is a neck blender (bringing the neck pickup int0 the circuit regardless of 5-way switch position.

Also, it acts as a volume pot for the slug coil, so turning it down produces a single coil in the bridge position.
