Graham in his home studio getting some amazing tones with his Grayling model featuring Bare Knuckle Nantucket P90s and a Mastery bridge

Graham Coxon needs no introduction. His innovative, enticing and energetic playing on countless hit singles and genre-defining albums with Blur helped shape British music (especially in my house). Graham loves Telecasters, ES335s and P90s so it made sense to combine all these aspects in this guitar.

This model, christened the 'Grayling' has a mahogany body with a maple top and a maple neck. It also features a solid central section with hollowed out wings, much like an ES335. Combined with a slightly shorter 25inch scale length and low-powered Bare Knuckle Nantucket pickups, this guitar sounds like a resonant, fat T-type guitar but with the added dimension of a semi-acoustic.

After much noodling with many, many effects pedals we found that it responds beautifully to all matter of boosts, compressors, fuzzes and delays and combinations thereof.

Graham has a new album out in 2017 and is very keen to get his Grayling out on the road.

Gray Guitars is beyond proud to be supporting this amazing artist as he continues to rock.

‘Thanks tonnes Tom, it’s a fantastic beast!
