A true, modern master…..

Josh is a virtuoso guitarist who has been playing, recording and performing professionally for 27 of his 40 years! A genius, blues-loving powerhouse, he effortlessly combines John Coltrane, Danny Gatton, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Albert King, to form his incredible style.

I was lucky enough to have the chance to make Josh Smith an Admiral model having met up with him on the last night of his tour in 2018.

Almost exactly a year later, I handed Josh his guitar at London’s club, The Borderline where again, Josh was finishing up another sold out UK tour.

Josh went for an Alder body, a roasted, flame Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard, Ron Ellis pickups and a Rutters bridge with titanium saddles.

The video below shows some of the build process and ends with some killer footage of Josh at The Borderline on the night that these pictures were taken and the same day that he received is guitar.
