Special: Features the Tim Renwick switching system: Master volume (with treble bleed), master tone has a push-push neck blend function, the last pot is a pot that turns the humbucker into a single coil as you reduce the level. The guitar all has a resistor array wired into the 5-way that evens out the tone of the single coils to preserve the correct tone when wired to a 500k volume pot.
